The Flashcard program has been updated to load a lot faster than before. Previously it took a few minutes to load up, whereas this should now be reduced to a few seconds.

It would be great if the Flashcard was useable on my iPhone, it seems like the version of Safari on it doesn’t like the Java, it never loads for me. As useful as the Flashcard is, I’ve never been very keen on the fact that it uses Java, which seems like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut. I am sure there are faster, more elegant, easier to maintain languages out there, which would make adapting it for different media (like the iPhone) much easier. It seems like a perfect application to be written with some form of AJAX for instance. I am sure there are very good reasons why Java has been chosen though, and I am no expert in it so am probably not in a position to criticise.
On a positive note, thanks for all your hard work on this site, I have been using it for about 8 months now and I am a very happy subscriber!
